Customer Success Manager (Commercial) – High-Touch Onboarding
About the Role:
This is not a support role. This is a commercial Customer Success role. Your job isn't simply to make customers happy, it's to help them achieve results, expand their investment, and maximize lifetime value.
You'll own a portfolio of strategic customers with clear targets around activation, retention, expansion revenue, and customer satisfaction. We operate with high standards, high ownership, and high autonomy. We don't micromanage, but we expect people who can own outcomes.
What You'll Own:
Lead high-touch onboarding end-to-end, building adoption plans that get customers to value fast.
Own customer growth by identifying expansion opportunities, leading commercial conversations, and confidently closing additional products, services, or upgrades.
Build trusted-advisor relationships that survive tough conversations and pricing discussions.
Monitor adoption metrics and flag risk before it becomes churn. Every account is revenue on the line.
Work cross-functionally to remove blockers, and push until they're actually removed.
Who You Are:
3+ years in Customer Success, Onboarding, or Account Management. SaaS strongly preferred.
Comfortable discussing business outcomes, ROI, and commercial strategy, not just product functionality.
Someone customers say yes to. You know how to handle objections and guide people toward a decision they feel good about.
You measure yourself in outcomes, not activity. Renewals kept, accounts grown, targets hit.
Experience with CRM and analytics tools (HubSpot, Intercom, Power BI or similar).
Bonus Points:
Experience in marketing analytics, ad tracking, or attribution tools.
A track record of turning customers into advocates and referrals.
